This talk looks at what will happen to the Earth\, the Sun and the galaxy on timescales ranging from thousands of years to eternity. \n\n\n\nNOTE: The speaker will be presenting this talk remotely\, via Zoom and will not be attending in-person at the University of Wolverhampton.

DESCRIPTION:The Society has arranged an evening of observing at Trysull Village Hall on Tuesday 16th January 2024 at 7:30pm.The car park has space for our cars along with room to set up your telescope/camera. Please park considerately to allow room for everyone.The hall will be open should you wish to sit in the warm.Tea and Coffee will be available\, donations on the night will be most appreciated to cover costs.Should the weather be cloudy we can use the hall for a show and tell evening.Members can bring along any of their astro equipment and people should be able to advise on use etc.Inside the hall there will be:> Smart telescope demonstration & slideshow> Telescope Collimation demonstration> Vintage astronomy book display and the Society Book Shop> Tea\, coffee and biscuits \n\n\n\nNon-members are welcome to attend at as cost of £2\, alternatively you may join on the night at a cost of £10 for full membership.
